Spring onto A Country Path – June 10 & 11

We invite you to take this self guided tour down “A Country Path”.  Farmers, Herbalist, Potter, Miller, Beekeepers, Cider & Wine Makers and a one of a kind B & B all within a short drive from each other.

Visit eight unique agricultural & rural businesses to hear our stories, our history & our passion for what we do.  Participating sites include: Tyrone Mills, Model A Acres B & B, Timeless Essentials, Rosemary Jenkins Pottery, 3Beez.buzz, Gallery On the Farm, Geissberger Farm House Cider & ourselves – Archibald Orchards & Estate Winery.    We will be offering complimentary wine tasting.  We’ll also be featuring some of our unique preserves.

Other locations will also have special activities just for this weekend.  Find out all that you want to know about beekeeping… taste some honey… pick up some beeswax candles… at 3Beez.buzz.  Taste some wonderful dips that Crystal has created at Timeless Essentials.  Take a guided tour of Model A Acres where you will see antique cars & vintage airplanes crafted by owner, Ian.  Tours are at 10, 12 & 2.  Cost is $10/adults.

Looking for a unique, one of a kind gift.  Visit Rosemary Jenkins Pottery!  Her skills as a potter are unbelievable.  From creating the piece to glazing, it’s truly a work of art & a passion for her.  You’ll find another passionate artist at Gallery on the Farm too.  Eric & Jenny are organic beef growers.  You may just want to bring your cooler so that you can take something home.

Be sure to visit Tyrone Mills, a 1846 vintage water powered mill.  Bet you can’t leave without buying some of their “cider donuts to die for”.  And there’s one more stop to check out.  That’s Geissberger Farmhouse Cider.  They operate Ontario’s only mobile cider maker.

It’s a full day – or two – with something for everyone!  For more information, check out A Country Path & individual businesses.  All locations are free with the exemption of Model A Acres.  Come experience rural Ontario!
