We are open

Hello everyone!

After a great winter break, we are excited to welcome you back to the Winery. Come join us Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 – 5 for complimentary wine & cider tasting!  And of course chatting!

Wondering what’s happening in the orchard? Fred’s been out pruning now that we’re getting warmer weather. Our fingers are crossed that the trees have survived the cold winter temperatures, thanks to the snow cover. There may be some bud damage but we won’t know until we get closer to spring. On the Winery front, fermentation is done & bottling is next on the agenda.

That’s all the news for now. We look forward to seeing you soon!  Sandy, Jess & Fred

Marching forward

Hello everyone!

After a winter break, we’re back open Friday to Sunday from 10 – 5 & we invite you to come taste! We offer complimentary wine & cider sampling. It’s first come, first served & no reservations.

If you are looking for apples, fresh cider or baking – sorry! You’re going to have to wait until apple season which starts early September.

If you’re wondering what’s happening on the Farm front, once the snow clears, we’ll evaluate all 10,000 trees to determine just how much dormant pruning is required. We’ve got our fingers crossed that the snow coverage hasn’t harboured mice which can do a lot of damage to the trees!

On the Winery front, fermentation is done. Next comes stabilizing & blending, followed by lots of bottling days. We should have good inventory on whatever your favourites are!

That’s all our news for now. Thanks so much for your continued support. We hope to see you soon!

Sandy, Jess & Fred
